My name is Richard Osborne and I’m a Game Developer / Programmer (most recent notable work was Darksiders for xbox 360 / playstation 3). I have a lot of different interests in which you see here. There really isn’t a central focus here so you will have to click on the subjects you are into. I blog on Software Engineering and Games mainly though. Also, keep in mind the articles you see here may or may not currently reflect my views. And they are of course my personal opinions not to be misconstrued for current titles I may be working on
Professionally - Games Industry
Shipped Elder Scrolls: Shadowkey (NGage), Command & Conquer 3(PC/xbox360), Lord Of The Rings: Battle For Middle Earth 2 (xbox360), Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 (PC / xbox360), Darksiders (xbox 360 / PS3), wrote documentation for Epic Games Unreal Developer Network (UDN), developed additional tools for UDN, and assisted in porting the unreal 2003 engine to playstation 2. Professionally - Business
Worked on some projects with NASA / United Space Alliance for a few years on various applications at an R&D department. One of my most notable works under the public eye was my work on Sky Watch web applet which enjoys over 10,000 concurrent users regularly from astronomy ethusiasts. Also published a few patents.
