Yeppers, this game is pure awesomeness. I’m sure I’ve drowned over 50+ hours into this game. I’ve still been playing although I’ve already beaten it. The game gets even more harder and there is more & more secrets to unlock. Highly replayable and highly worthy of a purchase if you don’t mind a little grinding and highly challenging gameplay. Another boon is that the PVP is actually quite amazing and addictive. I enjoyed the coop when others were nice enough to join albeit I wish it was easier to get help for some of these tough bosses espcially on NG+ (after you beat the game you can replay at a harder difficulty however you keep everything you earned on previous playthroughs).
If you don’t have a Playstation 3 then I must say this game should seriously give you a reason to buy one.
Been very much hooked on this game lately. Beaten the coop with a few friends however theres still a plethora of content. Each level has a percentage (completion) rating and I pretty much have low numbers in the majority of them. So we’ve been replaying these levels, looking for hidden gems we missed on the 1st playthrough. One nice thing I played the complete game coop so I’ve been able to clear the x2 and x4 (coop x2 players, etc) areas. There’s still plenty of keys to find and other challenges. And after that, bout 3 million user created levels to go through. Great game!
Just completed Red Dead Redemption last night. I was surprised by the length of this game, the story, and amount of work that went into this title. The graphics looked very nice and the gameplay was really solid. Rockstar San Diego did a very good job with this one
Been so busy with different things haven’t really had much time to update my own site. Got myself hooked on Fable 2. I’m on my second play now. Just got Saints Row 2 and Deadspace as well. It’s going to be tricky making time for all these great games…
Spellborn has been gaining speed recently and has announced a shipping date in North America around November 27. It recently received an award for most innovative fantasy based MMORPG as well due to its unique combat system and AI. I’m sure the freedom to design what your avatar wears also helped though (guess).
Darksiders has also been getting a lot of nice attention lately at PAX 2008 earning a lot of favorable comparisons to The Legend of Zelda and God of War
Interesting use of Levels here to pace the content. RPGs often do this but here its really strange how you cannot gain extra levels or anything. I suppose I prefer the Bioware RPG style whereas monsters slightly scale with you– allowing the game to be a bit more open ended. This title is straight up linear progression whereas they control your advancement very tight. Very long game– looks like it will be awhile before I’m done
So I’ve still been playing this game like a madman alongside Mercenaries 2. Yeah maybe I’m a little biased but I really think EA has been kicking out a lot of great games. Burnout Paradise is still the bomb. Mercs 2 gets plenty of my attention and soon Spore will get a little lovin’ too. I also heard Warhammer Online is doing hot. And soon C&C Red Alert 3 will be out <hint, yours truly worked on it so make sure you buy it!>
Make sure you guys keep an eye on C&C: Red Alert 3. I did some programming work on the title before leaving to work with THQ. As usual, I am going to be tight lipped for the time being. And yeah, I’ll be in the credits for that too along with LOTR: BFME II / C&C 3
So that will be 3 titles shipped with Electronics Arts although obviously I won’t be around to this one ship like the other 2
The character custimization is pretty incredible. A fan made a pretty impressive film. Looks like I will have to buy this game. Very nice looking visuals
